Ready to gather signatures? We had a very well-attended and successful training this past week so many members are set to go. AND WE HAVE INDOOR LOCATIONS for signture collection!
We are grateful to the Kent Unitarian Universalist Church, the Kent United Church of Christ and the Brimfield Bread Oven for opening their doors and allowing us to collect signatures out of the cold and wintry weather!
Here are links to the weekly sites with days and times as well as a special event on Jan. 27 in Downtown Kent. Click the links and then you'll be able to sign up. Consider volunteering weekly. There are more than 75 slots to fill!
Campaign leaders Anne Reid and Iris Meltzer will reach out to you with instructions. They will oversee stocking the locations with petitions and other supplies.
Need training? It's advised to seek training due to the specific requirements to gather valid signatures. Click here for the powerpoint used at the Jan. 11 training.
Have questions or an idea for a location to collect signatures? Contact Iris at iris.meltzer@gmail.com. You can also download a tool kit here from Citizens Not Politicians for more information.
