Reporting COVID-19 Exposure Procedure
|
If you or someone in your household is notified, or if you suspect, that you have been exposed to COVID-19, please email administration at frontdesk@thesummitprep.org. An administrator will contact you during school hours to discuss necessary precautions to follow before returning to the classroom and/or transitioning to Hybrid Learning.
Please stay home.
Administration will maintain communication with your family and notify the appropriate personnel and families if someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19. This information is considered confidential, and your privacy will be maintained in all such communications.

There will be NO SCHOOL next Monday, February 15th in observance of Presidents' Day. We look forward to welcoming students back to class on Tuesday morning!

$2 Uniform Buyout Day Tomorrow 2/11
|
|
Tomorrow, Thursday, February 11th is a $2 Uniform Buyout Day. Our Annual Campaign theme this year is Small School, Big Heart, so this buyout day will be a “big heart” Valentine’s Day theme! Students may also choose to dress in their Summit uniform at no cost.
All proceeds will go toward added recess equipment for students.

Spend your summer at The Summit with Camp Raven! These weekly camps provide a fun, safe, and stimulating way to continue learning over the summer break. Each camp, led by talented and enthusiastic instructors, focuses on a central theme from explorations in STEM and art to music and movement. Campers will have fun while learning and making new friends!

Get ready to read, Ravens! SPO is hosting a Read-A-Thon the whole month of February to gear up for Read Across America on March 2nd. Each student will gather pledges for the amount of time spent reading or being read to (Early Learners and Kindergarteners), and whichever class reads the most* will win an extra recess and have the traveling trophy in their classroom!
*Time spent reading per class will be adjusted for fairness based on class size.

Student Athlete Heading to State!
|
|
BREAKING NEWS! The Summit/NCA 200 Free Relay Team is heading to STATE! The team, including Summit Freshman Maren B., competed at the SWMO Swimming and Diving Championship finals at the John Foster Natatorium in Springfield, MO last Saturday. The relay team finished 5th with a time of 1:44.4, their personal record.
Congratulations, Maren! Three cheers for Maren as she prepares for the state championship in St. Peters, MO on Saturday, February 20th!
