Housing Market Update
The above chart is courtesy of my board, the Denver Metropolitan Association of Realtors (DMAR) for the month of March compared to last year. As you can see, homes are selling quicker since the Days on the Market is down to 20, the number of Active Listings is down 75% from last year but the Average Closing Price is up over 15%. I can definitely attest to the shortage as all 3 of my recent listings sold within a matter of days, had multiple offers and nearly 40-50 showings. Don't be discouraged though if you are looking, we have all kinds of great ideas on how to get your offer accepted. I also am in touch with many builders who are on a 1st come 1st serve basis, have no wait lists or quick move in homes available.
