COMPANY UPDATE
Volume 33 2021-2022 Season
"EVERYBODY CUT FOOTLOOSE"

We were thrilled that Prescott Park Arts Festival reached out to us a few weeks ago to ask if a few of our Company dancers could be part of their Summer Musical Reveal Event. If you haven't already heard, "Footloose the Musical" will be the main stage musical this summer. Their vision was for our dancers to flash mob the iconic song from the musical at their special event last night. They did a great job!

(Apologies that this week's update is a day late. In addition to last night's commitment, we needed some extra time to create next week's rehearsal schedule for the Gala.)

Hair:
Hair will be a neat high pony. During ballet, you are expected to have your hair in a bun. We do not know the schedule for classes at the moment, so bring everything you would need to put your hair in a bun with you to classes. Tights should be in good conditions, meaning no holes or runs. For hip hop you can wear clothes but no changing hair. Everyone is expected to look neat and professional. If you have any questions, reach out to Marissa or Hailey.

Masks:
We won't know the final plan for masking during the performance boards until right before we depart. For classes please feel free to pack the style of masks that you prefer. We want to be prepared if masking is required for the boards and want each company member to locate their black performance mask from this past year. There are black performance masks available for purchase ($3 each).

Please feel free to enquire with Daveda or Makayla at the desk or your captains for specific questions you have or wish to purchase something. Let the countdown begin!

Tights:
If you need extra tights, I would advise you to order them ASAP. There are still shipping delays.
Gala: March 19th, Blue Ocean Music Hall

The Show Run has been posted on the Performances page. As always, we've done our best to minimize "no-dance" quick changes. If there were some identified, we noted it. If you are impacted and it isn't noted, please email Alicia.
