Dear RSPA Humble Families:

We are writing to notify you that (2) individuals who were last on RSPA's Humble Campus on Monday, January 10th have been in close contact with a positive COVID-19 case.

Allow us to reassure you that RSPA follows guidance from the Texas Education Agency in the event of positive cases:

Areas heavily used by individuals infected with COVID-19 are sanitized. Individuals with positive COVID-19 test results will remain off campus until the following re-entry criteria have been met...

  • must self-isolate for 5 days.
  • must have no sign of fever without fever-reducing medication for at least 24 hours since recovery and symptoms have resolved after 5 days.
  • must continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

RSPA appreciates everyone’s help in providing the best educational environment through these proactive measures:

  • Daily self-screening for symptoms prior to coming onto campus.
  • Emailing covidresponse@rhodesschool.org if you, your scholar, or someone you’ve been in close proximity to tests positive, or experiences symptoms of COVID-19. Please be sure to include your scholar’s name, grade, teacher, and documentation of the positive test result.
  • Practice physical distancing.
  • Practice excellent hand hygiene.
  • Strongly encourage the use of face-coverings.

Thank you to the families & individuals for reporting this matter and assisting us with accurate contact tracing reporting.

This notice is being sent to all Northshore parents and staff members.

Best Regards,
RSPA Communications Department
