A Visit to Adrienne Mitchel Memorial Park
Adrienne Mitchell was 20 years old when she was killed during the Gulf War in 1991, becoming the first woman from Moreno Valley to die in combat. Four years later, the City of Moreno Valley dedicated Adrienne Mitchell Memorial Park to honor her sacrifice.

Today, Adrienne Mitchell Memorial Park is a 4 1/2-acre recreational area where families gather to enjoy each other's company. Located at 22631 Bay Avenue, Adrienne Mitchell Memorial Park features four basketball courts, barbecues, horseshoes, picnic tables, playgrounds, and a walking path. Adrienne Mitchell Memorial Park stands as a fitting tribute to one of Moreno Valley's fallen heroes. Learn more online about Adrienne Mitchell Memorial Park and all of Moreno Valley's beautiful parks!
