Dear Families and Caregivers,
I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. I want to thank all of our families and staff for continuing to prioritize the health and safety for everyone in our TLC community. Last week, our Superintendent shared a message with our updated COVID guidelines. I want to share our redesigned Flow Chart again with our families.

If you have any questions, please reach out to healthandsafety@tlcdeaf.org. Also, please continue to report positive cases to our TLC Nursing Office: (508) 879-5110 ext. 520.

Next Friday marks the end of our second quarter. We are halfway through the school year! There are a few things coming up in the next month.

Last week of January:
As shared in our last week’s community letter (https://conta.cc/3Kc3c6S) we are preparing for Black Lives Matter at School which will happen during the week of January 31. Please let me know if you are interested in participating during this week.

February:
Our next early dismissal is on Wednesday, February 9th.

During the month of February, for families of students in second to fifth grades, we will be administering MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing again. We give students MAP Growth tests to measure academic growth throughout the school year and from year to year in English Language Arts and Mathematics.

We will also have our winter break during the week of February 21-25th!
Have a good weekend!
~ Sarah and Janice
