In worship this coming Sunday, many churches around the world will be celebrating "Christ the King" Sunday, recognizing that the risen Christ is King and Lord over all of God's creation. Christ is the One who holds all things together! It is sometimes hard to believe that truth about Christ -- especially as we look around at our world today. Still, there is ALWAYS good news! Worship with us Sunday to find out more! Pastor Todd

LINDSAY CROSS WINS FLORIDA SEAT

Congratulations to Saint Mark disciples Suzette and Hayes Cross and their daughter Lindsay who won the seat for Florida state representative from St. Petersburg, Pinellas County on Election Day. Lindsay is an environmental scientist and won over 54% of the vote. Way to go!

THANK YOU

TO OUR

YARD WORK DAY VOLUNTEERS

A great group of Saint Mark disciples joined together on November 9 to clear brush, weeds, and vines from the bank near the Scout Hut and the large hedge at the Sanctuary parking lot. It was a beautiful fall day to enjoy fellowship, a few laughs, and a lot of hard work! We started with a prayer of thanksgiving of being able to honor the Lord and ended with a prayer of gratitude for keeping everyone safe. Thank you to all who participated. ~ Dal Poston

Please plan to attend worship on Sunday, November 27, 2022, as we officially kick off the Advent season by celebrating our traditional Hanging of the Greens service.

There will be no Celebrate! worship that day. Sunday school will begin at 10 AM, and we will have one combined  worship service together in the sanctuary beginning at

11 AM.

Please plan to stay following worship for a covered dish fellowship meal. Meat and drinks will be provided. You are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. We hope you and your family can be present for this meaningful morning of worship and fellowship!

This one-session seminar will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Saint Mark from 6-8 PM and facilitated by Diane Caster. To learn more or to RSVP, contact Diane at [email protected].
