Morning plenary: Don’t miss the morning plenary session starting at 7:45am! Dr. Renee Crichlow will present “We Got This Family Medicine,” stressing the value and need for Family Medicine as a specialty in light of the recent pandemic, social upheaval, and more. Dr. Crichlow is Chief Medical Officer of Codman Square Health Center in Boston; the Vice-chair of Health Equity at the Boston University Department of Family Medicine; the medical editor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the journal, American Family Physician; and the current President of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
Program coordinator’s networking group: On Saturday, from Noon-2pm, the FMEC has arranged for a room for program coordinators and other GME program staff to have an informal networking meeting. Boxed lunches will be available to all on the 5th Floor in the foyer, then join the Program Coordinator's Networking Meeting in the Providence Room, 4th Floor in the Convention Center.
Dine Around with Brown Faculty – Tonight at 6pm: For those residents and faculty who do not need to staff their Residency Fair booth, we’ve organized a few small dinners with faculty members at Brown University at 6pm. Go to the sign up sheet at the registration desk to see the faculty, topics and locations and choose to join a dinner. The dinners are self-pay and at casual restaurants. Medical students should not sign up as they will be at the Residency Fair.
