PREPARING FOR WORSHIP

Pastor Trudy's Message

In our scripture we hear Isaiah tell of a time when all people will seek to follow God. They will turn their weapons of war into gardening tools. That seems impossible!  Then we switch to King Hezekiah who is face to face with an opposing army. He doesn't exactly turn his weapons into gardening tools, but he does rely on God to guide him and the people of Judah in their response. Maybe we will find encouragement for the various battles we face over the course of our daily lives.

Mighty God, when we feel overwhelmed by things beyond our control, You call us to a quiet place, a humble place, a Holy place where we can be refreshed and restored to follow You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
