Join the Center for Latin American Studies and the Tuttle Park Community Center, for a Capoeira workshop with Capoeira Mestre Lobinho, from the Capoeira Mangalot group. The workshop is free and open to the public. Additionally, the workshop will be followed by an open Capoeira Roda (circle).

Mershon Monday: Caterina Preda, Memory and Dictatorship

Professor Caterina Preda will present part of her work on modern dictatorships in Eastern Europe and Latin America, highlighting Romania and Chile. Professor Dorothy Noyes of the Mershon Center for International Security Studies will be the moderator of this event. With CSEEES Director Professor Angela Brintlinger and Professor Ana Del Sarto (Literatures and Cultures of Latin America) serving as respondents.
