Commonly asked questions from our community members:

VACCINE AVAILABILITY

The County of Ventura receives 9,000 - 10,000 vaccines, on average, weekly from the State. Once vaccines are received, the County creates appointments for those vaccines to be distributed. Due to the extremely limited supply of vaccine, appointments are based on current supply and will only be expanded once additional vaccine is received.
SECOND DOSE

Community members who have met their wait period requirement will receive a reminder to schedule their second appointment. The notification will be sent to the contact information provided for the first appointment.
WHO MAY REGISTER FOR THE VACCINE?

For a list of Vaccination Phases, see Vaccine Information – Prioritization – Ventura County Recovers. You must live in Ventura County, show proof of residency, and show proof of age upon arrival at the appointment. Please only register for an appointment if you are eligible to receive the vaccine.
