Meet Maggie Aldana
Maggie Aldana is the Vice President of Administration for New Life Advance International and the only paid employee at NLAI. She handles all of the donations to NLAI – for ministries, missionaries, child sponsorships, projects, etc. – as well as all of the other administrative duties required to run an international mission organization. We asked Maggie to answer just a few questions so you could get to know her a little better.
Q: Could you tell us a little bit about yourself and your family?
A: I was born in Chicago. I moved to Houston when I was 12. My parents legally migrated from Mexico in the mid 60's. I've been married to Daniel for 32 years and have three sons, two daughters in law and three precious grandchildren. I gave my life to the Lord shortly after I married at a Carman concert in Houston and have been serving HIM since that day.
Q: How long have you worked for NLAI and how did you initially get connected to the organization?
A: I have worked for NLAI for nearly 17 years. I met David Depew, NLAI's President Emeritus, while still employed with Bellaire Christian Academy where David served on the Board of Directors. Dave was hiring an office administrator and hired me in the summer of 2005.
Q: What brings you the greatest joy in your work with NLAI?
A: Knowing that I play a small part in advancing the Kingdom of God.
