We are posting a brief day by day meditation from Forward Movement. It's a great way to start your morning! Just click on the website icon above.
Please join us as we celebrate Julia Yamaguchi, as she (finally!) is able to go to Japan for college.
Julia graduated from Iolani last spring and has studied online at International Christian University since the beginning of the fall term. COVID restrictions are now being lifted, so Julia will be able to join her classmates in person for the last portion of their academic year, beginning in April.
Please join us this coming Sunday, March 27 at 9am. Julia will offer a vocal solo during our worship service and we will have a special tribute and aloha hour in her honor.
Let's send her off with all our prayers and blessings!

Bishop Lessens COVID Restrictions
Bishop Bob Fitzpatrick, informed by a Task Force that has been reviewing civic rules and public health in our diocese, is loosening restrictions that have been in place during the pandemic and is encouraging congregations to shape many of their own COVID guidelines based on local context. The full text of the bishop’s message can be found here:
At Holy Nativity, we ask that the congregation maintain social distance and wear masks for another month, until the Sunday after Easter. (Easter Day being the most crowded of the year, we will wait one more week to make masks optional.)
Choir members, who sit several yards away from the congregation, may sing without masks on occasion before Easter Day.
During the service, we invite people to greet one another more directly when sharing the Peace. We will discontinue the use of tongs when distributing bread during the Eucharist, but we will continue offering the Eucharist “in one kind only” for now.
During coffee hour on the lanai, refreshments may not all be individually wrapped, but if not, they will be served by a volunteer.
We will continue to fully respect all those in our worshiping community who wish to maintain social distancing and remain masked beyond Easter.
If you have questions, please refer to the bishop’s memo and/or contact Rev. Libby.
Mahalo for your care.
