Our Mission:
“Making Christ Visible in
God’s Community”
Social Gathering with Father Dorian: April 3rd

I have been gathering with many different small groups across the church: life groups, bible studies, etc. The purpose has been to build relationships and learn more about one another. Another purpose is to field your questions, concerns, and hopes about the future of Holy Cross. If you are not currently involved in a particular group and would like to attend or host a gathering, please let me know via email at rev.dorian@gmail.com

Happening #86 will be held at Camp Gravatt April 1st - April 3rd. There will be 11 candidates from across the diocese attending. Michelle Brewer will be on staff as a mom for the weekend.

Happening is a Christian experience, presented by teenagers, intended to renew the Christian Church in the power of the Holy Spirit, so that the church may more readily respond to its call to spread the Kingdom of God throughout the world.

One way you can share in their journey is through prayer and Caritas. Please consider supporting our youth through caritas. There is a bag in the church office to gather caritas. Please have caritas dropped off by noon Thursday, March 31st. Feel to reach out to Michelle at 864-603-7813 or scrapdiva@charter.net if you would like to know more about caritas. Below is a list of candidates:

Sunday Formation with Father Dorian
9:15-10:15am
Parish Hall

Join Father Dorian on Sunday morning as we journey through the themes of Lent. We will engage the themes and scripture of Lent through the lens of the arts: poetry, music, visual arts, and more.
Holy Cross members and friends have the opportunity to provide a meal and/or dessert for our youth group. We'll meet most Wednesdays during the school year. Each meeting includes a *socially distanced* dinner. You may cook/bake or purchase already prepared food. Please plan to feed (or in the case of dessert, treat) twelve. Monetary donations are also welcome. Youth dinners currently cost about fifty dollars a week but donations in any amount are accepted and appreciated. To sign up, please visit bit.ly/hcteensspring22
Men’s Bible Group
This is a small group meeting on Monday mornings for about 1 hour starting at 11am at the church. We discuss the Gospel scheduled for the upcoming Sunday, the historical environment, what it means to us and how we can apply it to our daily lives. Then some of us have lunch together. This is an opportunity for fellowship, meaningful conversation and to learn something. Please come check us out. For more information please contact Dan Donboch at 864-905-7498 or email imjdd@hotmail.com or just show up on Monday morning.
ANGEL MATES is a group of friends who have lost their spouses. We meet once a month for lunch and fellowship. Our next luncheon will be Friday, March 11 11:30am

The media team is in need of a few more volunteers. No experience needed. All training and support provided. Reserved seating guaranteed. To serve on media team all that a person needs to be able to do is sit in the booth, follow along with the service, and click the arrow on the keyboard to advance the slide at the appropriate time. The sound board is not that much more difficult. One only had to push the labeled button to queue the correct microphone. All are welcome and training will be provided. If you feel this is a ministry you would like to participate in, please see Lynda Clark, Mike McAllister, or any member of the media team.
The bulletin for every Sunday will be sent out via Eblast on Fridays.
