PTA General Meeting

Our first monthly meeting of the PTA General Membership was very well-attended and filled with important information for all parents and students.

Nominations and Elections

for

PTA Executive Board & SLT

As announced in the PTA General Meeting, we are now accepting nominations and self-nominations for new members of the PTA Executive Board and the School Leadership Team (SLT).

To learn more about these positions and responsibilities, the PTA will be hosting a Q&A on Wednesday, October 4th at 7:00pm. Here is the Direct Link to that Zoom meeting. No registration is required. This information is also available on the ms104.com calendar.

Appointments and/or elections will be held at the next PTA General Meeting on Thursday, October 19th.

High School Admissions Seminar

ATTN: 8th Grade Parents!

If you haven't yet registered to attend this week's High School admissions seminar, please do so now for the sake of your own sanity.

This invaluable (but free!) seminar will be held this Wednesday, September 27th at 6:00pm on Zoom. It's presented by the MS104 Guidance Department, sponsored by the MS104 PTA, and hosted by our very own MS104 parent-alumni and high school admissions guru, Elissa Stein of "High School 411."

You MUST register to attend...PRE-REGISTER FOR GENERAL MEETI

And while you're at it, we recommend that you review the Guidance Department's Latest Blast, which covers many important topics related to High School admissions, including contact info for your student's high school advisor, as well as comprehensive calendars for upcoming high school open houses.

All parents are welcome to attend this seminar, but it will, of course, be of particular interest and help to our 8th grade parents.
