Inclement Weather School Closing/Delay Protocol & Notifications

As temperatures continue to drop, we would like to remind you of school procedures as they pertain to school closings and delays due to inclement weather:

We will make every effort to decide our status on any given day by 6:00 AM and post our status by 6:15 AM. We will give primary consideration to road/travel conditions, and we will most often err on the side of having school. We understand that families come from a variety of different cities, and weather and road conditions and directions from Saint Agnes may vary significantly; should any parents make a decision not to send their child(ren) to school, we will respect those decisions.

When a decision has been made to close or delay the start of school, the order of posting is as follows: notification via Educate’s emergency alert system (email, phone and text), posting to the school website, and, finally, notification to the four major media sites (WCCO, KARE11, FOX9, KSTP5). Other supplemental notification may be given by social media but is not guaranteed.

6th Grade Virtue Assembly – Date Change

The 6^th grade Virtue Assembly has been rescheduled to November 29^th at 9:30 AM. There will be no Virtue Assembly on November 11th. 

No Parking, Please!

Please refrain from parking in the reserved spaces against the school in the Thomas Avenue lot, even if you are just dropping off your child for a minute. These spaces have been assigned or purchased by employees who are trying to get to work on time. Thank you for understanding.

Also, please do not park in the Handicap parking spaces in the same lot, or in the Handicap Zone on Lafond Avenue at any time without authorization.

December 18th – 7-12 Lessons and Carols Choir Concert, 5:00 PM

All-School Fundraiser - Kicking Off Soon!

Our kick-off to the annual all-school fundraiser is fast approaching! November 22nd is the official “kick-off” with a morning raffle roll-out at convocation for the students.

A letter will be mailed home in the next week with more details and exciting incentive prizes announced. Remember – 100% of the proceeds stay at Saint Agnes School!

Saint Agnes Upper School Showcase Notice

Know any families interested in getting more information on the Upper School (7^th-12^th grade) here at Saint Agnes? To shed light on the great things happening in our Upper School, we will be hosting an Upper School Showcase (formerly known as open house) for prospective families on Wednesday, November 30th at 6:00PM.

Interested families are welcome to come in for an individual visit through the Admissions Office and/or attend the showcase. Please help us spread the word to good friends and family!

Food Pantry Has Re-Opened!

Thanks to a new partnership with the Sanneh Foundation, the Saint Agnes School Food/Parent Pantry is open again! The pantry will be open from 1:30 - 3PM in the convent basement each Tuesday afternoon on all the days that school is in session. The pantry is open to all Saint Agnes School parents, regardless of income.
