It is such a blessing that you all come on to make these Call to Action Zooms so energizing. Y’all’s commitment and enthusiasm is motivating and encouraging me to do my elected duties with the RNC to engage on crucial issues.
I serve you all and keeping this in mind, I want you to know this has motivated me over the last ten years to:
Serve on the Budget Committee making sure Texas received funds for our Get-Out-The-Vote and Election Integrity projects (not an easy task).
Serve as Chair of Committee of Arrangement, with President Trump’s approval, for the 2020 National Convention, making sure our state would have a significant role.
Serve as Chair of Grassroots Advisory Committee for four years, in which I was instrumental in starting the County Chair Fly-ins and workshops that reached the grassroots.
Serve on countless other positions.
Ten years ago I felt the call to serve as your National Committeewoman.
Now I feel an overwhelming call to build our local and community Republican parties and candidates.
I have an opportunity to make significant contributions to the strengthening of our Republican party at the local level, and after much deliberation and discussion, I am going to take that opportunity.
So I am ending my campaign for reelection as National Committeewoman in order to focus my time growing our party in Texas at the local level.
Be assured, there are some wise and talented women who will step up to run, not for the power, but with a servant's heart, and I look forward to their campaign announcements.
I will serve out my term working diligently to build momentum for the 2024 convention and election, reflecting yall’s energy and inspiration.
I look forward to my new journey to help our party grow and investing my time to nurture the future Republican leadership of Texas.
