Principal's Message
Dear Fallback,

I don’t know of a time when we’ve been more ready for spring! Thank you for all your support this year as we have navigated changes and restrictions in our practices due to the pandemic. It is so promising to hear about county restrictions being lifted and the beginning of a return to an improved normal. Currently, the district has stricter policies in place for the safety of our students and staff, but hopefully we’ll see less regulation in 21-22!

Teachers and staff are excited to begin celebrating our school year with lots of fun safe events. Next week we will celebrate the Week of the Young Child with spirit days. Please see the note below and feel free to dress accordingly. We will also have a Window Gallery walk for our classes the last week of April. Early in May we have Socks & Blocks activities planned.

Thanks for choosing us as a partner in your child’s education. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with you and your child.

Conscious Discipline
Self-Worth
Children and adults need to feel a sense of belonging and self-worth. Focus on encouraging children to solve their own problems.

 Some examples include:
  • “You almost did it. You were so close. Try again. You just need some practice.”
  • “I know you will think of another way of solving this.”
  • “You’ll figure out a way to be helpful. I know you. Inside, you don’t like to be hurtful.”
  • “That’s a tough spot you are in, but I know you can work it out. Let me know if you need help.”
  • “Oops! We all make mistakes. What could you do now that would be helpful?”
  • “You can do it.”
