Road Resurfacing Begins

The Township’s annual road resurfacing project has started. The schedule for this year’s project is:

As with any paving operation, this work is very weather dependent and some streets on this year's schedule may not be resurfaced until 2023 if Mother Nature does not cooperate.

Please use caution when driving in work zones and observe all flaggers and signs.

West Amber Community Meeting Set For August 18

The Township will host a West Ambler Community meeting this Thursday, August 18 between 6 and 8 p.m. at the Daniel Dowling American Legion Post #769 at 351 Maple Avenue.

Attendees are welcome to drop in at any time to review plans and offer input on the Boys & Girls Club and on plans for Wissahickon Park.

Township Officials, members of the Wissahickon Valley Boys & Girls Club, and design consultants will be present to discuss plans and speak with community members.

Representatives from the Whitpain Recreation Association and Ambler Whitpain Youth Football will also be present to answer questions and provide information about youth sports opportunities and programs.

Final Summer Concert Is Tonight

The summer's final concert is tonight at Wentz Run Park featuring Bigg Romeo. Music begins at 7 p.m.

Save September 16 for the annual drive-in move night at Montgomery County Community College.

Board Of Supervisors Meets August 16

The Board of Supervisors will hold a business meeting this Tuesday, August 16, at 6 p.m. The meeting can be joined in person at the Township Building or by Zoom.

Zoning Hearing On Portion Of Former Unisys Property Postponed Until October

Alliance Partners has continued its application before the Zoning Hearing Board until October. The application was scheduled to be heard August 18.

Alliance Partners is seeking zoning relief for the undeveloped portion of the former Unisys Property to allow loading docks and warehouse space in excess of what is permitted in their zoning district.
