EXCITING NEW BOOKS & ONE-DAY STORE CLOSURE

Dear community member,
On June 30 this year, Kepler’s completed one of its most challenging fiscal years in recent history. We are pleased to share that we managed to achieve 88% of our average historic sales despite the store being shut down for many months and operating under strict restrictions and limited hours when we were open. Further, we succeeded in making up for the shortfall through increased membership support, grants, and PPP loans from the federal government. Thank you for your tremendous ongoing help through the pandemic. Kepler's would not be here today without your support.

Now, it’s only September, but we are already starting to get ready for the holidays. Kepler’s will be closed on Monday, September 13, for our annual inventory verification. As a retail store with over 35,000 items in stock, we work hard to ensure that the inventory on our shelves matches what’s in our inventory system and on our website so customers and staff have accurate information. While maintaining accurate inventory is a year-round effort, once a year we manually count and verify every item in the store. Thank you for your understanding as we work to serve you best.

We have been refreshing Kepler’s tables with the latest and greatest books, and you can browse them from home any time.
