A Message from the Head of School
We have had a joyful and emotional last three days with the celebration of our Closing Exercises and our Graduation.  We are proud of the accomplishments of all of our students and particularly of our graduates of the Class of 2022.  We are thankful to our faculty and staff for all they have done this year to provide an excellent education and a nurturing environment to our students.  We thank you our school families for entrusting your children’s education to Mead Hall this year.

Next week we will send school families SmugMug galleries as a memory of these events.  Please watch for the emails of the events celebrating your children.

Summer is now here but we have one more thing to do as a community, celebrate and thank Father Grant and Mrs. Heather Wiseman.  We will have a cookout on Saturday, June 4th, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the Aiken Prep Campus where you can have a chance to say farewell and Godspeed to them.  It would be great to have you RSVP at the Aiken Prep Campus office by emailing jhardy@meadhallschool.org or calling 803-648-3223.  We look forward to seeing you!

I wish everyone a summer of relaxation and refreshment!

Summer blessings,

Frank Sawyer

Mead Hall Courtyard Campaign Brick Fundraiser

The purpose of this brick fundraiser is to support the renovation of the playing field space on the St. Thaddeus Campus to include: a tricycle track, soccer field, basketball court, four square court, and outdoor classroom/performance space.

Engraved bricks will be placed near the flagpole in the school courtyard which serves as a gateway to the school for guests on the St. Thaddeus campus. In June, the courtyard will be renovated by the St. Thaddeus parish into an “outdoor learning environment “ using patio pavers and seat wall hardscaping.

Engrave a brick to honor or remember current or former students, faculty, staff, or parishioners, or engrave a brick to mark graduation or other special occasions.

Bricks can be purchased electronically via a link on the Mead Hall Website or with a check and printed order form turned into either school office. The first batch of bricks will be submitted for engraving on May 31!

The Courtyard Campaign Brick Fundraiser will provide approximately half of the funding needed to refurbish the playing field space. Would you consider providing a designated gift to Mead Hall to enhance the outdoor spaces for students on the St. Thaddeus campus? Questions? Contact Joanne Morton jmorton@meadhallschool.org for a personal tour showcasing our vision.

The South Carolina Department of Public Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC) and the federal government have begun treating COVID-19 as an endemic virus. This is due to declining case and hospitalization rates as well as the increased availability of vaccines, treatments, and rapid testing.

We will discontinue reporting our weekly COVID-19 cases. We will continue to provide COVID-19 data to DHEC weekly. You may access this school report information using this link.
