Fall is my favorite season. I enjoy the cooler air, lower humidity, and the silent explosion of vibrant yellow, red and orange leaves.

Interestingly, Meteorologists determine seasons by annual temperature cycles, not the amount of daylight. Therefore according to Meteorologists, fall begins on September 1, not this year’s autumnal equinox on September 22 (for us northern hemisphere folks).

So why wait any longer? Now is the time to turn off your house AC, go outside and enjoy nature’s free and wholesome fall weather air conditioning at one of the beautiful parks in our area.

Sincerely,

William D. Kastning, AICP
Executive Director
