"Raising The Bar For Excellence In Your General Contracting Services"
Dear valued partner,

Ten years ago today - November 7, 2012 - I officially incorporated Regal Restoration USA.

Thinking back, it's very surreal.

Growing up, a decade seemed like an eternity, but the past 10 years have flown by in the blink of an eye.

Today, for this special newsletter, I want to dedicate a moment of intentional reflection on three major takeaways that, I feel, have contributed to Regal's first decade of success.

Relationships

Those of you who know me can fully understand how strongly I value the cultivation of relationships. From the time I was a child playing Little League baseball, I enjoyed speaking with the coaches more than actually playing the game (I was never destined to become an athlete, as many people know).

From Regal's inception date, I knew that building authentic relationships with like-minded individuals was going to be a cornerstone of the business. This applies to Regal's team members and customers. Our core group of employees consists of family members and friends of more than 30 years. Regal's client base didn't come from placing ads in a newspaper, but rather, a key network of people with whom we were able to build trust and establish meaningful connections over the years. This results in a leadership model promoting fewer - but repeat - customers because of my commitment to delivering results that are promised from the start.

After 10 years, I can think of countless partners who not only continue to provide job opportunities but have also become friends that are considered family. We've created so many meaningful memories - on and off the clock - and I look forward to building upon this tradition, and business model, for years to come.

Growth

One of my trusted mentors instilled in me that if you're not growing, you are digressing, and that stagnation can't exist, especially when it comes to being a business leader.

In my eyes, stagnation promotes complacency, which is why, over the past decade, I've prioritized evolution on all fronts. I'm always reflecting on what our next goal should be and how to most effectively reach it. Because of this, I believe in the value of strategic investments. Whether it's our vehicle fleet, educational opportunities, technology or marketing, taking the time and resources to "move the needle," so to speak, is vital to Regal's growth. I hold weekly meetings to keep the team up to speed with everything going on behind the scenes; we celebrate successes; learn from our challenges; discuss what we want the future to look like and how we're going to get there.

Ownership

Nobody is perfect.

As a business owner, this is not always easy to accept, but it's reality, and we must move forward from our mistakes. I stand behind the motto of owning it, making it right, and moving on. Completing thousands of projects over the last 10 years, it's inevitable that shit happens - but it's how we learn from these challenges that sets us apart. Acknowledging mistakes can be difficult, but it's imperative for growth and continued relationship building - which, as you know from reading this message, comprise Regal's foundation and core values.

In closing, I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of Regal's incredible journey thus far. Your trust and reliance on our team fills me with pride, and I am eager to build upon that for years to come. Everyone reading this message plays a part in Regal's story, and for that, I am forever grateful.

Cheers to the next 10 years!

Your grateful leader,

Robert/Robbie
