Originally from New York City and moved to the Treasure Coast by way of Charlotte, NC, I have been living here for two and a half years and been visiting since my family moved here back in 1988. I thought I would eventually retire here when the time came, however, Covid came around, and a change came with it. With my wife out of work, we took a leap of faith, and it’s been one of the best decisions we have made. Our girls love their schools and new friends, and we are active in our community for the first time and loving it.
Looking for a change of pace while on vacation, I stumbled across an ad to work at a credit union, after reviewing the role and never being in banking I said, “I can do that!”. After a year and a half at iTHINK Financial Credit Union and two promotions, I am very proud of my role as Community Development Manager for Indian River County. I get to meet all these amazing people that make this community grow! I get to showcase the products and services we have and try and help people save and earn money in ways they might have not known was possible. Our foundation also does a great job at giving back to our community. For example, I get to dress up like Santa, bring gifts to kids, and put ginormous smiles on their faces. It’s been truly rewarding, and I can’t express how much I love working here and working with this great community.
