Get cooking with ASP
It’s never been easier to cook a delicious meal and support ASP’s mission of providing safe and secure housing for the people of the Appalachia region. ASP is teaming up with a local butcher shop, Country Village Meats, whose full line of grill ready marinated meats, fresh cut steaks & chops make meal preparation simple, easy, and tasty.
This year CVM will hold the ASP Fund Raiser at their new Geneva location. The CVM Geneva location has the meats and products you love from the original Sublette location, plus full-service meat, seafood, and deli counters. Fifteen percent from the food products you purchase at the Geneva store during the week of May 16-May 21 will fund ASP. Just specify “this order is for UMCG ASP” at checkout. Please help us improve those ASP homes while providing our youth an experience of a lifetime.
Store information:

DO YOU ENJOY GARDENING?
CREATION CARE TEAM NEEDS HELP WEEDING!
The gardens that surround UMCG are in need of a few more people to help maintain them. The gardens are divided up into manageable areas and can be weeded on your own schedule. This is a great activity for a group, family or an individual. We still need help in area 2A (by old church doors) and area 3.
If you can help, please sign up on the Creation Care bulletin board in Fellowship Hall or email Debbie Karr at dlk24@att.net.
