2023 Watermelon Festival

August 4 & 5, 2023

Celebrating the huge watermelon industry in Knox County with some summertime fun - the 2023 Watermelon Festival is starting TONIGHT (Friday, August 4) and will continue on Saturday, August 5 in Vincennes, IN. Enjoy booths with fair food favorites, live entertainment, and arts & craft vendors.

Our cutest event of the festival is our Watermelon Pageants! Starting at 10 AM on Saturday, our Watermelon Pageants will continue throughout the day, ending with our Miss Watermelon Queen Pageant starting at 3:00 PM.

Join us for our Antique Tractor Show sponsored by Organ Battery & Electric! The tractor show will be from 9 AM - 4 PM on Saturday and is free to participate! More information about location and unloading is on our website.

5K Run/Walk presented by Old National Bank, will start at 8 AM on Saturday, at Patrick Henry Square. Pre-registration for this race is closed, however, we are accepting on-site registration the day of!

This class is a partnership between the Knox County Chamber of Commerce and Purdue University Extension and is dedicated to creating a network of willing knowledgeable, and committed leaders who will step up and make a difference in their community.

United Way Campaign Kickoff: Let's Eclipse The Need

The Campaign will officially kick off on Thursday, August 31st at 4:30 PM at the Vincennes Riverfront Pavilion! Enjoy an event featuring a family friendly presentation by our 30 partner agencies with games and giveaways for kids as well as a bouncy house and light refreshments. Kids can sign up for door prizes by visiting the agency tables. Music will be provided by Just One More and check presentations will be made by Old National Bank and representatives from the three school corporations.
