Give Miami Day is one of the largest annual online giving events in the Southeast United States. On Give Miami Day, anyone can make a philanthropic impact by collectively supporting local nonprofit organizations.

** PINECREST ELEMENTARY PTA IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION! **

Since 2012, Give Miami Day has raised more than $100 million for 1,000+ community organizations. Pinecrest Elementary PTA is excited to participate for the 4th year in a row!

Give Miami Day 2023 will take place on Thursday, November 16th. The 24-hour giving day begins at 12:00am on November 16, and ends at 11:59pm. The GiveMiamiDay.org portal is open now for an Early Giving donation period.

Join us to keep our PTA strong and participate in this movement of generosity. Our goal is to raise $10,000, and we know we can get there! 100% of the proceeds go to Pinecrest Elementary PTA, and some will be matched by the generous corporate sponsors of Give Miami Day.

As you may know, our PTA has big goals and we are raising funds to continue our excellent programming (e.g., Trunk or Treat, STEAM and Literacy Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, Welcome Back Playdates, and more), to provide supplemental resources that aid our teachers and enhance the curriculum (e.g., Teacher Mini Grants, IXL, AR, Reading Plus, Science Fusion, our new STEAM lab in the 700 building, etc.), and to make school improvements. Examples of improvements may include safety updates to our school.

On Give Miami Day - this Thursday, November 16th - our PTA invites you to join us for coffee in front of the school after you drop your children. Say hi,

grab a latte, enjoy performances by our chorus, modern band, and cheerleaders, visit our Donation Station, and be a part of something special. Our coffee cart will be serving from 7:30-9:30am.

We also invite you to stay for our monthly PTA meeting right after our student performances.
