T-SEP & Chamber Partner on Ohio TechCred Webinar
Join us to learn more about TechCred and how it can help your business on
January 21 at noon! TechCred, through the Ohio Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, helps businesses upskill their current and incoming workforce with tech-focused credentials.  Businesses can receive up to $2,000 for each tech-focused credential earned, up to $30,000 per employer each application period. The current round closes Jan. 29 and the next round is expected to open in March.

Program presenters are Lu Cooke, NW Ohio Liaison for Lt. Gov. John Husted, and Tori Atkinson, Workforce and Apprentice Program Manager at Northwest State Community College. To register, click here.

Chamber Announces Next Power Hour
The Seneca County Regional Chamber of Commerce will be partnering with members to provide professional development Power Hours. The first one will be hosted on Zoom. Power Hour will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 9 am. Chris Lee and Hannah Luhring with Edward Jones will cover the presentation titled, "Stocks - The Nuts and Bolts".

After the success of the vintage markets in Tiffin in 2019 and 2020, Jami Fadley, owner/designer at JAM’S Creations, is opening a new business to bring together small businesses, boutique vendors, artists and crafters for a unique shopping experience. JAM’s Monthly Markets, 147 Madison St., Suite B, will take place every third Thursday weekend, Thursday through Sunday, along with three large vendor events throughout the year — JAM’s Holiday Open House, JAM’s Spring Market and The Heritage Vintage Market (taking place during the Tiffin-Seneca Heritage Festival).

SBA Program Update Webinar Announced
This webinar is an update on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s new programs in Congress’ COVID-19 Relief Package, including the renewal of the Paycheck Protection Program, will take place at 10 a.m. Jan. 29, 2021. To register, click here.

The Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits and Venues Act was signed into law Dec. 27, 2020, and included the opening of a third round of PPP loans as well as other assistance programs. SBA representatives Deborah Callen and Timothy Ensch are to provide an overview to these new programs and answer attendees questions during the webinar.
