Law Center Gathers at Horse Ranch to Celebrate 25 Years of Service

Like most everyone, we put off celebrating our important anniversary year until we knew it could be done safety. The Law Center board and staff gathered in May at a horse ranch in Waterflow, New Mexico under an open-air tent, complete with good food and a home baked cake. Almost sixty people attended the party.

Our deep thanks to Tom Chee, Janet Slowman-Chee & family for their hospitality and their amazing presentation on what horses have to teach us about advocacy and about human/animal interaction.

Thanks to the Reeve Foundation for believing in the importance of activity, accessibility, and support to non-profits. As always, thanks to the Protection and Advocacy system that supports the Law Center through federal funds.
