Presented by Sixthman, the leader in festivals and music cruises for more than two decades, Andrew McMahon’s Holiday From Real sails November 9-13, 2024 from Miami, FL to Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau, Bahamas aboard the luxurious Norwegian Gem. As noted, the premiere sailing of Andrew McMahon’s Holiday From Real will see exclusive headline performances spanning McMahon’s singular two-decade-plus career, with live sets from the million-selling, chart-topping Something Corporate, the RIAA Gold-certified Jack’s Mannequin, and his critically acclaimed solo project, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. What’s more, McMahon will lead a very special Andrew & Friends collaboration set co-starring an array of special guests and other surprises. The fully immersive event will further feature a stacked lineup of fellow artists including The Academy Is…, MisterWives, Ruston Kelly, Jukebox The Ghost, Cartel (performing Chroma), Augustana, Wildermiss, and more. In addition, McMahon will host an exclusive live Q&A session open to all guests on the outdoor Pool Deck stage, alongside additional activities. All guests will receive an Autographed Commemorative Item signed by McMahon prior to the event.
Perhaps most importantly, Andrew McMahon’s Holiday From Real will be the site of McMahon’s 15th annual Dear Jack Benefit supporting the Dear Jack Foundation. Founded by McMahon in July 2006 following his own battle with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), The Dear Jack Foundation provides impactful programs benefiting adolescents and young adults (AYA) diagnosed with cancer and their families to improve their quality of life from treatment to survivorship. ABOUT ANDREW MCMAHON:
Over the last two decades, Andrew McMahon has successfully experienced musical rebirth many times and has consistently arrived on the other side stronger than ever. The East Coast-born, Southern California-based artist first co-founded the pop-punk outfit Something Corporate in 1998, serving as the group’s singer, pianist, and songwriter and leading the band to major chart success in the early 2000s via such albums as 2002’s Leaving Through The Window and 2003’s North (2003). Soon after, McMahon resurfaced with the more personal solo project Jack’s Mannequin, finding success through three studio albums, with 2005’s RIAA Gold-certified debut, Everything In Transit, followed by 2008’s The Glass Passenger and 2011’s People and Things, both of which arrived among the top 10 on the Billboard 200. In 2014, McMahon released his debut album under his own name and new moniker, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, featuring the breakout top 5 alternative radio singles, “Cecilia and the Satellite” and “Fire Escape.” Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness has since released a series of hook-packed albums, including 2017’s Zombies On Broadway, 2018’s Upside Down Flowers, and most recently, 2023’s Tilt at the Wind No More, amassing over 325 million total streams to date. With total career sales now in excess of 2.5 million across all of his musical projects, McMahon has performed at such marquee festivals as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Riot Fest, and Firefly, and toured alongside the likes of Weezer, Panic! at the Disco, Dashboard Confessional, and one of McMahon’s idols, Billy Joel. McMahon has also received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the NBC show, Smash, and in October 2021, released his memoir, Three Pianos.
