Random Work With a Laser Focus

The Riverdale Press interviewed Lehman professor of physics Christopher Gerry about his discovery of a method for generating truly random numbers and why this unbiased process matters in real world applications—specifically lasers.

Beyond Rising for Undocumented Students

CBS New York talked to participants in Beyond Rising, a program that offers paid internships to undocumented high school students. This partnership between Lehman and a nonprofit, the Oyate Group, helps interns learn valuable technical skills.

Upskilling Courses Are Back!

Lehman College students, alums, and community members can apply for 8-10 week mini-courses geared toward boosting career skills. Complete and submit the online application by this Friday, September 1.

Tutor the Next Generation of College Students

Lehman STEP is seeking tutors to teach high school students how to navigate the PSAT/SAT. Tutors will receive course materials to provide the most up-to-date lessons. Paid position: Get the details here.
