Sparking Joy This Holiday Season

This month, we have officially kicked off our Annual Holiday Gift Drive to make the holiday season brighter for children in our community. Delight a local child with a special holiday gift:

1 Online Donations or Gift Cards: To ensure every child, from toddlers to teenagers, experiences the joy of receiving a gift this season, your generous donation of gift cards (suggested $20) to places like Target, Walmart, Five Below, or a general Visa gift card will create a world of difference. Join us in spreading holiday cheer and making this season magical for children of all ages! To make an online donation visit www.jfsmiddlesex.org/donate.

2 Gifts with Heart: If you prefer purchasing an actual gift, look for "gender-neutral" items like Lego Blocks, Arts and Crafts, Playdoh, Educational Coloring and Learning Books, and more.

3 Volunteer Magic: Gift your time by volunteering to help with fundraising, sorting, and distributing holiday gift items. Your hands-on support ensures that every child receives a thoughtful gift during Hanukkah and Christmas festivities.

We kindly ask that all donations be made by December 1st. Drop off your donations at our North Brunswick or Monroe offices, Monday-Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm, and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Your support not only fills hearts with joy but also creates cherished memories. Help us spread the word, host a collection, or reach out to us at 732-777-1940 or womenscenter@jfsmiddlesex.org to discover more ways to be a holiday hero. Together, let's create a season of enchantment and love for our children!

Uplifting & Connecting Holocaust Survivors

JFS' Café Europa is a remarkable monthly program that goes beyond providing nourishing kosher meals—it creates a space where Holocaust survivors with shared experiences can get together and enjoy each other’s company along with a special lunch and lively entertainment. In recognizing the importance of connection for our aging survivors, the program becomes not just a meal but a crucial pillar of support and community.

Café Europa stands out as a beacon of compassion, offering meaningful connections and uplifting experiences for those who have endured so much. The invitation to volunteer for the upcoming event on Tuesday, November 28th is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to contribute to this heartwarming initiative. To get involved, email office@jfsmiddlesex.org. If you would like to sponsor a Café Europa luncheon, call 732-777-1940. Thank you for your continued support of this truly impactful initiative!
