The year is 1968 and Judy Garland is set firmly on the comeback trail. The failed marriages, the suicide attempts and the addictions are all behind her. At forty-six and with new flame Mickey Deans at her side, she seems determined to carry it off and recapture her magic. But lasting happiness always eludes some people, and there was never any answer to the question with which Judy ended every show: “If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow, why, oh, why, can’t I?”
END OF THE RAINBOW is a savagely funny drama featuring a glorious ensemble of Judy Garland hits such as “The Trolley Song,” “The Man that Got Away,” and of course “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
Tickets are $32 for adults, $29 Carnegie members and $25 for students.

The College Hill CURC, The Carol Ann & Ralph V. Haile Jr. Foundation, Yard & Company, and the Kolar Experience Institute launched OurShop College Hill. OurShop is a semi-permanent initiative to bridge community wants and needs with what’s possible in the marketplace, while documenting and measuring the impact of placemaking and activation on retail sales and growth. The initiative is meant to inform public and private investments in entrepreneurship ecosystems, neighborhood retail strategies, and commercial district operating systems.
This is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to start up in a risk free environment. Space will be provided rent free with only utility and operating costs to selected applicants. The project will span over 6 months and will provide tenants the opportunity to test the market, gain recognition within the community and benefit from all of the recent activity and growth in the College Hill Business District.
Benefits to the selected entrepreneur(s) include:
- rent free space (the tenant would be required to pay utilities)
- a whiteboxed space
- a monetary stipend for customization of space
- business mentorship support
- sales and customer insights
- POS system set up and onboarding (if needed)
- activation/placemaking activities throughout the tenancy

ART FOR LIFE 2021
Art for Life will take place on October 23, 2021 at the Columbus Museum of Art.
Art for Life is a biennial art auction, started in 1989, that has helped raise awareness and approximately $4 million in funding for HIV/AIDS medical care, prevention, education, testing and advocacy services. The event is not only a celebration of the arts community and Equitas Health’s life-saving work, but also a celebration of life and the artists who enrich it. The 2018 Art for Life raised over one million dollars and more than 1,000 attendees, continuing its legacy as the most successful charity art auction fundraiser in Ohio.

GLSEN Greater Cincinnati hosts a weekly Youth Group meeting. The GLSEN Youth Group is a safe and welcoming space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and their allies to gather. Each week the group explores a topic of interest to middle and high school-aged youth with an emphasis on LGBTQ issues. Youth group also includes weekly social time and a quarterly social outing or activity. GLSEN Youth Group relies on a series of youth generated ground rules to keep our space supportive and positive. We participate in days of action sponsored by GLSEN national and provide opportunities and resources for group members to organize actions in their school community, such as Day of Silence and Ally Week.
