Apply for 2022-23 USU Scholarships
USU introduces “ScholarshipUniverse,” a new scholarship application platform, which includes all university, College of Science and departmental scholarships. Apply online, with one application, to be considered for multiple opportunities. You’ll be notified by email of any additional opportunities for which you’re eligible to apply. Apply for Graduation by Feb. 28
Will you graduate this Spring 2022? Congratulations! Be sure to apply for graduation with the Registrar’s Office (TSC 246) by Monday, Feb. 28, 2022. The University Commencement Ceremony is at 9 a.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and the College of Science Ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. in the Daines Concert Hall on Thursday, May 5, 2022. If you are graduating in Summer 2022 and wish to participate in the May 5 ceremony, you must also apply for graduation by Feb. 28. Questions? Robots at Science Unwrapped Friday, Jan. 28
USU computer scientist Mario Harper presents “Hard Choices: Being a Robot in a Human World” at Science Unwrapped Friday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. in ESLC 130. All are welcome! Spring Runoff Conference 2022 Set for March 29
USU’s annual Spring Runoff Conference, for all scholars involved in water-related research, will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Eccles Conference Center on campus. Registration and Call for Abstracts begins January 15. Undergrads are encouraged to participate.
HackUSU 2022 Registration Opens in January
All Aggies are invited to participate in HackUSU March 18-19, a 24-hour hackathon featuring coding workshops, networking and free food in Huntsman hall on campus! Registration opens in late January.
Peak Fellowship Applications Open Feb. 1
Undergrad researchers are invited to apply for the 10-week Peak Summer Research Fellowship. Applications open Tuesday, Feb. 1 and close Tuesday, Feb. 15. This unique program, endowed by Professors David and Terry Peak, provides research opportunities, along with special trainings and workshops.

Grad School Fairs
USU’s Career Design Center offers a variety of fairs to help you find summer jobs, internships, post-graduate careers and graduate school programs. The center also provides resources to help you craft a resume, prepare for job interviews and more. Coming up: Summer Job Fair (Jan. 19) and Spring STEM Career Fair (Feb. 9-10).

Student Hardship Fund
The College of Science Hardship Fund provides one-time, emergency financial assistance to students within the college who are experiencing a crisis. This fund is separate from the university’s Student Emergency Fund, from which science majors may also apply for assistance. To access the fund’s website, select “Students” from the main navigation bar on the College of Science home page and select “Student Hardship Fund” from the drop-down menu.
