Employment, Navigating the Issues in the "New Normal"

Speakers Jeff Turgeon, the Executive Director of the MassHire Central Region Workforce Board, Kevin Kuros, the Central MA Regional Director for the MA Office of Business Development, Jibrael Younis, the Business Services Manager for the MassHire Central Career Center, and Sandra Foley, will discuss the state of unemployment in Massachusetts and transitioning to the new normal after COVID.
-Finding jobs through virtual job fairs
-Resources for virtual placement
-Industry specific employment related concerns (ex: hospitality, entertainment, gig workers, etc.)
-Opportunities for workforce training

What this Tournament Means
This is a major fundraiser for the BV Chamber, Blackstone Valley Education Foundation and the Blackstone Valley Education Hub. We are excited to be able to fund the important programs the students in the Blackstone Valley need, and now especially to provide training for those students who were unable to gain access to the vocational training they so desire.
The important mission of this tournament is to enrich education and strengthen leadership among students, teachers, businesses and communities in the Blackstone Valley. By your contribution, you will play a pivotal role in providing the funds necessary for these programs.

Riverside's new 16,000 sq. ft. Behavioral Healthcare Center at 176 West Street in Milford, serving children, adolescents, and adults in south-central Massachusetts, brings our regional behavioral health services together in a well-designed complex and allows us to expand services and improve coordination of care.
With the need for convenient and timely access to integrated behavioral healthcare rising rapidly - locally and across the state - we have worked hard, with the generous support of the community, to expand our services and reach more people who need us in this region we have long served.
While many services are still virtual due to the continuing pandemic, we are beginning to see more people in person and look forward to the day when we can see everyone in our new offices. In the meantime, please contact us at the numbers below if you would like more information about our Milford programs.

When our father and uncle first opened the doors to Harbro Auto Sales & Service on April 14, 1973, few could have imagined that our doors would remain open 48 years later— now run daily by us, the second-generation of Hare brothers. (Harbro is short for Hare Brothers!)
Over the years, Harbro has opened a new branch in Webster, and moved from Linwood Avenue to our current spot on Route 122 in Whitinsville— but we've always tried hard to keep the small-business spirit and feel alive.
