I work with an investor who often uses my services to update his rentals or flip properties. This one needed a color update since it needed painting anyway. The entire house, including the garage doors, was painted the same color.

AFTER!

The investor liked the blue option shown here. I made the recessed area white and the canitlevered parts dark blue. The black front door and garage doors give it the 3rd color that I like.

For homeowners, who are willing to invest just a little more to bring in additional personality, I would recommend adding some wood and extra lighting to fill in the space above the door.
