Adopt-a-Family
Each year the EEC "Adopts" several local families in our community to help bring the Holiday season into their homes. If you would like to pick a gift to purchase off of the “Virtual Tree” please email Susan Morrison at smorrison@fairview.k12.oh.us, she will send you information. Please pick which item(s) you would like to purchase by filing in your name. Once you have purchased your item(s) please drop it off at the EEC by Thursday, December 17th. You may drive through the daycare's pick up line 4:00-5:30, drop it in the office or you may ship it directly to the school, 21620 Mastick Rd. Fairview Park, OH 44126.

Please leave the gifts UNWRAPPED.

North Pole Experience Drive-Thru Event
Gilles Sweet PTA, Parkview PTA and
Fairview Park Early Childhood PTA sponsoring:
North Pole Experience Drive Thru Event

Students and Families from Gilles Sweet, Early Education Center
and Members of Early Childhood PTA are invited to sign up to drive
thru the Gilles Sweet parking lot and enjoy the lights, decorations,
music and even a chance to visit with Santa from the safety of your
car. There will be a few vendors handing goodies out to children as
they drive by. All participants are asked to wear a mask.

Where: Gilles Sweet Back Parking Lot 4320 W220th
When: Saturday December 19, 2020- 5:00-7:30pm

*Admission: Canned goods, boxed pasta, peanut butter,
paper towel, toilet paper.

Kindergarten Attendance
During remote learning, attendance is taken by the kindergarten teachers. If your child will be absent, arriving late, or leaving early please call the EEC office 440-356-3515 or email smorrison@fairview.k12.oh.us.
Car Line
Car Line

We ask that you remain patient and drive cautiously. The pattern of the car line will likely loop around the back parking lot, please see the map for details. We ask that if you are not in the designated spots 1, 2, 3 that you do NOT get out of your car. We will be moving as quickly as possible, but want to ensure the safety of all students and staff. ALL STUDENTS WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERATURE CHECKED BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING.
 
Drop off Questions for Daycare & DAP Students:
Has your child had any fever reducing medicine in the last 6 hours?
Is anyone at home feeling sick?
Is your child feeling sick?
Have you been exposed to anyone with COVID?


As the seasons are changing we ask that you remember the guidelines when sending your child to school, If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms we ask that you keep them home.

  • Fever (100°F or higher?)
  • Loss of Smell or Taste
  • Significant Cough 
  • Muscle Aches 
  • Sore Throat 
  • Shortness of Breath
  • Chills 
  • Headache
  • Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea

Box Tops

You can submit your Box Tops this year by downloading the Boxtops App and earn money for our school electronically. Once you download the app, you will be prompted to choose the school you will be submitting to. No more clipping – this is a much easier option!
PTA Reflections
Calling All Student Artists! Get Ready to Create!

The Fairview Park City School District PTA 2020-2021 REFLECTIONS Art Contest and Celebration begins on December 7, 2020!

This year’s theme is I MATTER BECAUSE…
Students can enter original artwork that reflects the theme of I MATTER BECAUSE in the areas of visual arts (painting/drawing, collage, sculpture, woodworking, jewelry, etc.), literature (2000 word max), photography (3x5 to 8x10), dance choreography (5 min limit), film production (5 min limit), and musical composition (audio recording or vocal and/or instrumental, 5 min limit).

All grade levels from preschool through 12th grade can submit artwork and students may enter artwork in more than one category.
Official guidelines with submission steps and the contest schedule are available hereComplete the official entry form here and submit artwork electronically (limit file size to 1,000 MB). All artwork and the entry form must be submitted electronically for this round by midnight December 21, 2020 for local judging. Winning artwork will advance to the state-level in January 2021.

For students who would like to participate but have limited access to art supplies, our PTA Council will try to accommodate reasonable art supply requests.
