ESHB 1368 Passed House and Senate
Engrossed, substitute house bill 1368 made it through the Washington State House and Senate and has been delivered to the Governor. This proposed legislation includes allocation of $1.66M in federal COVID relief funds to free clinics. Here’s the link to the bill.

Thank you to everyone who advocated on behalf of this legislation. Special thanks to The Olympia Free Clinic’s executive director, and WHAA board treasurer, Katie Madinger, who provided excellent, live testimony.

Grant funding will be distributed through the Washington State Health Care Authority. WHAA will work to ensure a simple process for clinic funding applications and reporting
