Home & School News

The people in the Rauh family-
We are a family of 14 and counting. Haha! We have 9 children and two of them are married and one of them has a child with another on the way.
Matthew and wife Anna, Margaret, Patrick, Emily and husband Wil and now 3 year old Gianna and baby # 2 on the way,
Grace, Eileen, Peter, Tim, and Daniel. All our children are alums of SMV or will be by the end of this school year (Daniel is in 8th grade!)
Our family pet is a Sheepadoodle named Baxter.
Our family likes being together, entertaining and cooking together.
We have lived in...Jeff and I grew up in Elm Grove and Jeff attended SMV. We started our family in San Diego, CA and moved back to Elm Grove and lived there until 9 years ago when we moved to Hartland to have a little more room for our family to spread out.
Our family loves being a part of SMV because of the wonderful teachers and staff and the Catholic culture that is SMV - everything from science to history to sports is always rounded out with our Catholic faith and we have always seen that as a huge benefit and something we cherished about sending our kids here. This is our 27th year straight as SMV parents. When we moved to Hartland we didn’t think twice about where our kids would be in school even though we had 5 children still in grade school at the time. SMV was home and it was where we wanted to stay. Our children are 4 th generation St. Mary Visitation students and parishioners and we love being a part of the community even though now we have a bit of a commute!
