Greetings!
The holidays may not be back to what one would call normal, but there is a ray of hope. It is definitely better than the year before and we do have many new options. Let us take time to reflect on the year gone by and think ahead as the New Year approaches. We hope you have the opportunity to find comfort in the warmth and love the future may bring.

Despite the weather, the 2021 Montgomery Tree Lighting was one of the best ever. The added festivities to expand the Holiday Season included the following highlights:
  • More than 500 guests strolled down River Street
  • 300 cups of hot chocolate was served from Atrevete Confections
  • Gray's Mill Estate served over 200 cookies
  • Ryan Watson, from Farmer's insurance distributed 200 glow necklaces
  • 35 kids entered the coloring contest sponsored by the MEDC and Best Homes Fox Valley
  • 75 children from our local schools performed
  • 82 letters were written for Santa
  • 80 ornaments made at Village Hall with the Rotary Club of Montgomery.

Realtor of the year
In September at at the Centennial Celebration Installation Banquet for the REALTOR Association of the Fox Valley, Kristine Heiman was awarded Realtor of Year for 2022. She was also awarded the Presidential Award by President Lucas Albright. Congratulations Kristine, you continue to shine and give back every opportunity you can. You are indeed a gift to the profession and our community. Thanks for all you do.
