Residential Community Cleanup

DUE TO BAD WEATHER ESPECTED FOR SATURDAY, MAY 7th OUR NEW DATE IS

10:00 am - 12:00 noon

(or once dumpsters are full, whichever is first)


DO YOUR SPRING CLEANING NOW!


Bring your household junk to the following boulevard locations:


  • Coast Guard
  • Between Widgeon & Cedar
  • Nautilus
  • Fisherman



ACCEPTING

  • Small appliances
  • Furniture
  • Lumber
  • Mattresses/Box Spring (limit 1 set per household)
  • Metal
  • Toilets/sinks


NOT ACCEPTING

  • Landscaping debris
  • Batteries
  • Commercial construction/debris
  • Concrete, brick, drywall
  • Hazardous/toxic waste
  • Household garbage
  • Oil
  • Paints
  • Recycling (plastic/cardboard)
  • Glass
  • Roofing shingles
  • Carts/vehicles


Dumpsters will be clearly marked with FIPPOA. 


Please DO NOT use any other dumpster on the boulevard as these are privately rented by contractors.


Drop off is only between the hours of 10 am - 12 noon on Sunday, May 8th. NO garbage is to be left on top of the covered dumpster or on the ground around the dumpster. These items do not get removed by the dumpster contractor. 


Regular Town of Brookhaven bulk pickup is every Wednesday morning at no cost to residents. See garbage schedule here.
