Dear Roslyn School Community,

As we begin our spring break, I wanted to share some wonderful news about our Roslyn students, who despite the challenging circumstances, have found a way to shine!

Jordan Zucker has been named Valedictorian and Daniel Rosman has been named Salutatorian of the Roslyn High School Class of 2021

Senior Brooke Williams, in recognition of her academic accomplishments and leadership, was presented a Distinguished Honoree citation during Black History Month by NYS Senator Anna M. Kaplan.

Two seniors, Jake Azrolan and Chelsea Kumar, were named Semifinalists in the Long Island Junior Science and Humanities Symposium.

Three RHS students—Jared Chapman, Amanda Lerner, and Ashley Mazarin— were honored with Quill Awards for articles they wrote for The Hilltop Beacon.

High school students and sisters, Ava and Lily Weinstein, were awarded a Legislative Citation by the Nassau County Legislature for their work assisting the elderly obtain vaccine appointments.

And, in mid-February, Shani Sirota earned the gymnastics title of Nassau County All Around Champion for the second year in a row!

It gives me such pleasure to recognize the accomplishments of these students, and I look forward to celebrating future achievements with all of you.

Enjoy the break!

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
