Lower East Side Friends & Family:
Here is the antidote to the politics of NOW:
THE TOUGH BROADS FILM FESTIVAL!
Join us and the Lower East Side Girls Club (402 East 8th Street) this weekend at the Tough Broads Film Festival.
We will be co-presenting the documentary The Rest I Make Up
at 3pm this Saturday. The film covers the live of Maria Irene Fornes, who has been called the greatest and least known dramatist of our time. She's written over 40 plays, won nine OBIE awards, and mentored thousands of playwrights across the globe.
This is an extraordinarily well-timed event. The opening night film is
RBG followed by two more days of inspiring documentary films focusing on life-long activists... the past is prologue...the future still unwritten. This is the Sisterhood / Brotherhood event that will refresh your spirit! It's FREE. Friendly.
Please reserve your FREE tickets
