Spring 2021 Commencement Ceremony
We are excited to announce that Idaho State University will hold an in-person commencement ceremony on Saturday, April 24, to celebrate the achievements of our graduates. The in-person event is being planned with input from public health experts, and it will include a number of COVID-19 precautions, including physical distancing and face coverings.

All May 2021, August 2021, and any previous graduate affected by changes due to COVID-19 are invited to join us at these celebrations. Each graduate will receive a limited number of tickets for guests in Holt Arena, and the ceremony will also stream live online. In the near future, an email communication will be sent with more information about ceremony times, requesting audience tickets, and COVID-19 precautions. The commencement website will also be updated as plans are finalized. The commencement committee is also planning a similar celebration in Meridian.

We would appreciate an RSVP from any faculty member who plans to attend commencement so that we may plan for appropriately spaced seating arrangements. Please fill out the Faculty RSVP Form by April 1.

Volunteer Information for Staff
As always, the success of commencement will be dependent upon our dedicated team of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please complete the Commencement Volunteer Sign Up form by March 19.

If you wish to volunteer for this event, please coordinate with your supervisor prior to signing up. Classified staff will be compensated for time worked during commencement and must coordinate with their supervisors to determine whether this time will be managed as work hour adjustments, compensatory time, or paid overtime.

Please direct specific volunteer questions to Allyson Johnson at allysonjohnson@isu.edu or (208) 282-4798. Thank you for supporting Commencement.
