Weekly Update - April 22nd, 2021
Sunday Service: "It's Sunday Morning. Why Are You Here?"
led by Helen Wolfson and Eric Thomas
April 25th at 10:30 am
For this service, we welcome guest service leaders Helen Wolfson and Eric Thomas, fellow UUs from the Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (ERUUF) in Durham, NC. Today, more Americans than ever identify as religiously unaffiliated. What is it about Unitarian Universalism that compels theists and non-theists alike to show up at a church-like place (church, fellowship, society, you name it) instead of staying home, relaxing, reading the paper, or engaging in any number of other competing possibilities?

"Good in the 'hood" Auction 2021
We are excited to bring you our annual auction in an online format this year, complete with a great goodie bag (with purchase of a ticket) and a fun Zoom experience! The auction will be held on Saturday, May 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

This year’s theme is "Good in the 'hood" and we are asking for donations to some local businesses. Please take a moment and choose an item to donate; we are asking for all gift card donations to be mailed to the church or given to an Auction Committee person by May 1st.

  1. You can use SignUpGenius to pick an item or items, and then procure said item (all are gift cards) and mail to the church or give to any auction member by May 1st.
  2. If it's easier for you, email Pauline (psciarappa@gmail.com) or Amy (kdjmom3@gmail.com) and let them know what item you'd like to donate and they will get it for you.
  3. You can contact Amy or Pauline if you’d like to make a cash donation instead of going through SignUpGenius.

More details about the auction will follow, but in the meantime, enjoy this opportunity to shop local, support Westborough and surrounding town businesses, and help make our "Good in the 'hood" a great event.

Thank you for your contributions! - Amy MacDougall, Pauline Sciarappa, Ben and Erin Gold, Lisa Shumway and Laurel Gray
