Where: Southern Food and Beverage Museum (1830 MLK entrance)
What: Every Tuesday and Thursday in January from 3:30-5:30 pm, we are providing after-school cooking and food games for kids 7-11 years old. Kids will make a snack, while also playing food games from popular cooking shows such as Nailed It, Chopped, Great British Baking Show, and Worst Chef in America. Here are some examples:
-What Is It? Kids have to taste, feel, or smell a mystery item blindfolded and guess what it is
-The Technical- Kids get ingredients and instructions and replicate a dish with nothing else with their team.
-Chopped- In teams, kids will create a dish using surprise, limited ingredients from a mystery basket.
-Taste and Race- Kids taste an item and have to figure out the ingredients in it with only their palate, getting all the ingredients right on the board against the other team.
- Health Inspector- like the game Mafia, but the health inspector is coming to town.
Full 9 day package- $300; 4 day package- $200. Only 15 spots, drop off pick up no more than 30 minutes before or after the program.
