A Note from Julie
Dear Friends,

Thank you for warmly welcoming me to the church and for the beautiful flowers in the sanctuary last Sunday. It was a great first week!

I have been asked when it is appropriate to notify the church about an illness or surgery.
“How serious does it need to be?” My answer is, when in doubt, call! The only way we can care for one another is if we know what is going on in each other’s life. Likewise, if you know of someone who is sick, hospitalized, has a scheduled surgery, or otherwise could benefit from a call, please let me know. I would rather hear about a concern five times than to find out later that we missed responding in a time of need.

I am happy to be in ministry with you.

Faithful Disciples
Our Confirmands explored the question: Will you be Christ's faithful disciples, obeying his word, and showing his love?
In community, we read and discussed: Mark 8:27-38, Mark 12:41-44, and John 21:15-19. We reviewed the mission statement of First Presbyterian Church and talked about how we live out that mission.
