Jacqueline M. Solomon, M.D.
Staff Neurologist, Multiple Sclerosis Specialist, McMaster University
Dr. Solomon is a staff neurologist and multiple sclerosis specialist at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. She completed her neurology residency training at Mass General Brigham and then pursued a fellowship in multiple sclerosis at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Solomon has had a longstanding interest in medical education. She spearheaded a vast curriculum reform of all preclinical courses at the Technion American Medical School, to eliminate redundancy and better coordinate the course material. During her intern year at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, she developed and implemented a curriculum in High Value Care for one of the wards teams in the residency program. Dr. Solomon has since focused her medical education research on rounding practices in neurology and has published her work in several journals, including Neurology and Annals of Neurology. Dr. Solomon has received several awards, including the Vice Dean for Education’s High Value All Star Award for successful quality improvement projects related to high value care, as well as the Senior Resident Teaching Award.
