A Letter from the Principal - Molly Mares

Dear Notre Dame of De Pere Families,
The new school year is just about upon us! We are looking forward to welcoming teachers back next week Tuesday for professional development, planning, preparations, and, of course, prayer.
All of the GRACE websites, including Notre Dame of De Pere’s, were recently updated with a refreshed look. We have relinked all sorts of helpful information as the links in our previous newsletters no longer work. Please note, the Family Handbook is password protected. The password for this is: Raiders1870 You should be able to set your devices to remember this password so you only have to enter it the first time. Please take some time to review the Family Handbook prior to the school year starting. It outlines tons of helpful information and was part of your signed agreement during the enrollment process.
The school calendar on our website is updated with all of the school events, planned dress-down days, and more. Check back here often to mark your own calendars at home! Don’t forget to mark your calendar for Meet the Teacher, Supply Drop Off and our Back to School Cookout on Tuesday, August 24th from 4-6pm! Make sure to stop by the Scrip and Home and School tables in the Commons to learn more about how to support our school!
Here is the home for tons of helpful resources, including the required Back to School Forms. Teacher placements and welcome letters will be emailed to you the week of August 16th along with more specific classroom information.
A few more hot topics of information to help you plan through family logistics for a successful start to 2021-2022:
Uniforms: Please review the sections regarding pants material and type carefully along with the length requirements for shorts and skirts. Also, note the dress-down day policies. Thank you for your attention to this as you eye up back to school shopping!
Drop Off and Pick Up: Drop off in the morning begins as early as 7:40. Students who need to be dropped off earlier will need to utilize our before-care program. Please note the drop-off/pick-up procedures have adjusted back to last year’s morning procedures with all students entering the building immediately after being dropped off.
COVID Site Plan: The finalized Board of Trustees and GRACE Medical Board approved plan will be shared in next week Wednesday’s newsletter.
If you have questions in the meantime feel free to reach out to our office at (920)337-1115 or send Mrs. Lamers ([email protected]) or myself ([email protected]) an email.
Blessings,
Molly Mares
